International Summer Academy Bad Leonfelden.
Professors: Antje Weithaas, Ulf Schneider, Thomas Riebl, Gustav Rivinius, Patrick Demenga 1st Course: Arrival on the 16 July. On 17 July at 10:00 an audition will be held to decide who will be activ / passiv participant (for cellists at 14:00). Concerts will take place on 20 July by the professors and on 23 and 24 July by students. Departure on 25 July. 2nd Course: Arrival on 7 Aug., concert by the professors that evening. On 8 Aug. at 10:00 an audition will be held to decide who will be activ /passiv participant. Student concerts will take place on 13 and 14 Aug. The end of the course is on 15.Aug. at 13:00 (You will have to check out till noon). Bad Leonfelden is a charming little town in the “Mühlviertel”, a beautiful area in Upper-Austria. The classes take place during the day in a relaxed but concentrated atmosphere; the evenings are reserved for ad hoc chamber music playing. Each participant gets free admission to all classes and concerts.
